What happens during a PRP facial with Microchanneling treatment?

We start by drawing your blood and then placing it in a centrifuge, where we isolate the nutrient-rich PRP, a process which takes only minutes in our office. At this time, we also apply a topical numbing cream to your face so that you are completely comfortable throughout your treatment. The PRP is then applied to the surface of your skin in conjunction with the microchanneling process. PRP can be applied to any area of the body that needs healing, tissue growth and renewal. For example, PRP with microchanneling is extremely effective at diminishing stretch marks on the belly and acne scarring on the face.

What are the side effects of PRP with microchanneling?

Your skin will be red after your treatment, much like a sunburn. You should allow the PRP to remain on your skin so that its healing properties can continue to do their work until the PRP dries up and flakes off. This process may last a few days.
